Many of you would have seen Phil Cooper out training with a rucksak. The reason for this is that Phil is taking on the Marathon de Sables next year for LOROS and Ovarian Cancer Research. Phil is doing this in memory of his mother.
Phil has organised a masquarade charity ball in aid to help raise his target of £15,000 for the charities.
To be precise it is a masked ball to be held at the Quorn Country Hotel on the 23rd January 2010.
Attached is a poster explaining the details of the event, and it would be great to see couple of tables from Barrow Runners to attend. There is space for 300 people so are trying to pack the joint, so feel free to pass this on to anyone who might be interested
Tickets are £35 for a 3 course meal, music + other fun and games to be organised
