The snow cleared to allow the first race of the season, the Ashby 5 mile race, to go ahead on Sunday. The results show that Barrow had an excellent turnout with some great individual performances.
We had 53 runners finish which is a big turnout. First home was Tim Hartley who opened the season with a win. It's always a proud moment for our colours to lead the way! Well done to cat Draper for finishing 6th as first barrow lady home one place in front of Emily Ault. Most important I thought a great tem spirit yesterday and some happy faces at the end with some obviously pleased athletes with their performance. This weekend is the big one... the BARROW 6!
