The current forecast is for hot temperatures on Sunday morning. There are 2x water stations on the course and water will be distributed at the finish. Drinks are also available for purchase from the race village stalls. Please keep yourself hydrated and bring extra water.
A 1 mile fun run will start at 9.45am

The Prestwold 10K road race returns for another year.
Set over a flat and fast course around the private Prestwold Driving Centre airfield and quiet surrounding country lanes, Prestwold is the perfect race if you're ready to take the step up to 10K or just eager to beat your PB.
Proceeds from the race will go towards Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance.

Adult affiliated - £10.50
Adult unaffiliated - £12.50
Race number transfer requests can be made up until end of Wednesday (14 June) by emailing Prestwold@barrowrunners.co.uk.
Tell us your name and the details of the person you wish to transfer your place to, inc. name, gender, DOB, email, phone number, club and UK Athletics number (if a club-affiliated runner).
A single lap, flat and fast course around the private Prestwold Driving Centre airfield and quiet surrounding country lanes.
The course is well marshalled with a water station.

Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd male and female along with various male and female vets prizes. There will also be an additional £50 if the winners break the current course records: Male - 30:35 and Female - 35:17.
