Lots of folk out enjoying the sunny weather this week, starting with the Joy Cann 5 LRRL where, from a field of over 500, Matt King was first back for Barrow in 39th place. Louise Caskey was back on home turf in NI for a five miler and her Barrow vest caught the eye of the local paparazzi!
Mats Vermeeren and Rachel Bentley took on a 38 mile Ultra Trail race. Mats flew solo and finished in 10th place and Rachel was part of the Relay Team which finished 1st, fantastic running both.
Not running but definitely worthy of a mention: Justine Albert and Rob Phillips cycled 1,020 miles from John o' Groats to Lands End in 14 days, raising £2,000 for Dame Kelly Holmes's Trust - a brilliant achievement.
