After the pancake flat nature of Prestwold, the next race in the LRRL takes us to the hills of Hungarton on Wednesday 8th July at 7:15pm As ever, we want as many Barrow vests on show as possible. Entries are closing soon - but entry on-line is possible. For full race details and a link to enter please go to the Wreake Runners website. http://www.wreakerunners.co.uk/events.html Watch out for the cattle grids! |

Entries are now open for the National Triathlon Club Relays at Holme Pierrepoint on Saturday 22nd August. The race is a 4x500m swim, a 4x10 mile bike and 4x5K run - the unique part is that the teams of 4-people do each discipline as a relay before starting the next part of the race. This makes for a hectic and sometimes comic race (ask Keith Y). Last year we entered 5 mixed teams and we're aiming to do the same again. If you're interested then please

Thank you to all of you who came to the BBQ after Prestwold - it was good to see so many of you along with family and friends. Big thanks to fellow chefs Vicey and Anna B. Hopefully everyone has any plates, bowls etc that they brought. I've got a blue and white Ikea plate so let me know if it's yours! |

Many thanks to Barry for giving us a great talk on how nutrition can help our performances. I'm sure that everyone appreciated it, despite the ban on chips. If you want see again the presentation, or if you missed the talk, Barry has kindly provided us with a copy of his slides which can be downloaded in pdf format below.
