Great weather this year and support all along the course, it certainly gets you pumped, happy and a will to keep pushing! Barrow Runners had 11 out at play on Sunday and each and every one delivered a sterling performance. With Will Clarke first over the line for Barrow in an amazing time of 02:26:08 and Ian Robinson running in his England Vest, and all those sweet runs and PB's in between, I hope you all feel super proud.
In other news we had the Richardsons take on a very different but equally challenging event in the spectacular setting of the Peak District for the Peak District Birthday Bash, 35 KMS of beautiful but tough terrain. Elsewhere we had three half marathon events going on. Blackpool welcomed Luke and Rosette and Carsington welcomed Naomi and Dave and Shakespeare Half with Jaky Blyth picking up a PB. Great performances all round.
Last, but not least, our trusty Parkruns got more of us out and about with a travelling Rich Keep in Karokw and Rachel Martin placing 1st in age category and a new Parkrun PB.
