Barrow Runners RUNdown 27th February 2022
What a busy weekend! It's great to see events back in full swing and so many Barrow Runners out enjoying the competition and the sunshine! Emily and Geoff kicked us off on Saturday at the National XC Champs in London, flying the Barrow Runners flag in this prestigious event. They were joined by Lorraine Toll at Carsington Water and a plethora of Parkrunners for a busy start to the weekend. Then 3 big local events took over as Stilton 7 kicked off the 2022 LRRL competition and the Leicestershire Half Marathon set off from Prestwold Hall. Barrow Runners took 5 podium positions at Prestwold – great running everyone! If that wasn't enough, we had 3 runners at the Belvoir Challenge. I'm shattered just writing this down...well done all!
