Another fantastic week of variety for Barrow Runners this past weekend. The majority of which took part in the Tara Kinder Memorial 10K with 35 red, white, and yellow vests on display with Lorna Goodacre and George Burdett both securing 10K PB's.

We also had Rosette Dikebele take on the Leicester Race for Life (10K) and making her debut in the Leicester Mercury too. Stretching the distance now to Ultra marathons with Adam Law taking on a 27 mile-ish for charity in 05:21:18 and Michael Cheverton taking on the Tittesworth Water 50K Ultra in 05:26:54.

Parkruns, our regular feature does not disappoint this week either with Rachel Bentley being the first Barrow Runner to complete 100 different parkruns with Ferry Meadows getting the acclaimed 100th venue spot and Mark Sadler securing 1st in age category by Royal appointment at Sandringham Park Run.

Well done to everyone getting out and about and representing the club. Great efforts all round.
