This week's action includes the "Mad Mile" at the track on Thursday evening, the Triathlon Relay Championships in Nottingham and a group trip to the Netherlands to check off "Z" from the parkrun alphabet.

At Ratcliffe track on Thursday evening, 36 runners took part in the annual "Mad Mile", which was also the 9th race of the Summer Championships. There were fantastic efforts all round and several PBs. As a reward for their efforts, all runners were treated to a pyramid interval session afterwards!

Saturday morning saw a number of runners heading to parkruns, with some great performances and a few age category wins. There was a special trip for 10 Barrow Runners who flew out to the Netherlands to do the Zuiderpark parkrun in The Hague and tick off "Z" in the parkrun alphabet. Amber Lester finished 3rd overall and there were strong category finishes across the board. It looked like a fantastic trip.

Also on Saturday, Russell Lewin (and others) took part in the Triathlon Relay Championships at the National Watersports Centre in Nottingham. Including transitions, Russell completed the swim in 07:48, bike in 26:05 and run in 21:59.
