Ten Barrow Runners were present at the Garendon Gallop and clocked excellent times, especially as this mixed terrain 10k is more suitable for a slow trot than a gallop!
On the trails there was action in the Peak District and in Eryri. Fiona Mee and Jon Richardson achieved excellent times in the Dovedale "Little" Dipper, with Fiona just shy of the podium. Kirsty Hillier achieved a top ten position in the Sea2sky Snowdonia 25k.
As usual, there was also a lot of parkrun activity. Special shout-out this week goes to our runners at Long Eaton parkrun: Jake Spencer came second JM10 at his 5k parkrun debut, while Jack Peasgood celebrated his son's first birthday by pushing him around the course in 17 minutes.
