Barrow ladies led the field at several parkuns on Saturday. Well done to Natasha, Louise, and Rachel! Meanwhile, keen parkrun tourist Mark bagged his 100th venue.
The final LRRL race of the season took place at Markfield on Sunday. Jack, Jake, and George led the Barrow pack. A strong showing meant that (according to the provisional results) both Men's teams avoid relegation! The ladies were safe already, and Justine claimed the win in her age category.
There were many more races on. Chris and Russ competed in the East Leake Sprint Triathlon (Russ's 3rd triathlon in 5 weeks). Alison and Lorraine ran the Croft Canter. Jon, Nigel, Cheika and Ian went on a quest to steal from the rich and give to the poor at the Robin Hood Half Marathon. Other Jon ran the Berlin marathon, as did Michael, who took advantage of the famously fast course to set a stunning PB!
