In the winter championship, part two of the Braunstone parkrun event happened on Saturday. Eight runners decided to have a(nother) go at getting their best possible time in. Even more of us could be found at Watermead parkrun, perhaps lured in by the bubbly and tiffin, where the Couch to 5k runners had their parkrun graduation. Congratulations to all the graduates on their achievement!
Ashby 20 broke with a long-standing tradition of handing out hideous hoodies, and actually produced a rather smart looking garment this year. But don't let the hoodie talk overshadow the PBs ran by George, Andrea, Richard, and Mark! And while they and 8 other Barrow Runners were pounding the Ashby asphalt, Liz and Ian were lighting up the streets of Bristol in another 20 mile race.
And last but very fast: Micheal ran a PB at the Wolverhampton 10k, finishing 8th overall in a field of over 2000 runners!
