There was a sea of red, yellow and white around the trail course at East Lake, with Lewis Moses taking the win in 1st place, with Ollie Hatton, Tim Hartley and Jake Blythe close behind in a Barrow 1, 2, 3 and 5!
The weekend saw Rachel Bentley, Liv Bent and Ian Hawley representing the county at the Intercounty Fell Race, having been specially selected following their XC performances over the winter (this might be an incentive for some of you next year!).
A Barrow takeover was on the cards at the Watermead Junior Parkrun on Sunday, with several of our junior members taking part in the run whilst the adults volunteered in various roles. I'm sure this won't be the last parkrun takeover, so keep your eyes peeled for the next one.
