A Weekend of weather... and running events!

This weekend was host to some special events, one being Equinox 24 and the 10th race of the Barrow Runners Summer Championship. What a Race/Day/Night/Weekend it was! Special mention has to go to Michael Cheverton However, Winner of the Day 10k Race in an amazing time of 00:34:55 (chip). We cannot of course forget our Incredible solo Runners who racked up an astonishing ~370k between them!! All this run through some of the most varied weather you can imagine. Well done to those that got the worst bits but persevered. Results are listed Below.

There was a plethora of other events entered by our club, we had Andrea Winkless and Collette Porter Taking on Iron Man in Italy and James Woodford doing the same in Wales. Tess Kay took on the Salomon Scottish Skyline HM with her daughter and to Celebrate her birthday! Vicky Elston ran a fantastic Time in the Very warm Berlin Marathon. Phil Fantham meanwhile was running the Clipston trail HM.
