The Sherwood Christmas 10k was the second round of the winter championship. Christmas came early for many club members, with over half of the competing Barrow runners finishing in the top three of their age category. Third overall was Sam, and it was red, white, and yellow on the top step of both the men's and the ladies' podium, with Michael and Anna finishing first.
It seems some of the Sherwood runners crossed the line at such magnificent speed that their chips did not register. We don't want anyone to miss out on their club championship points, so of you are missing from the results below, please let us know!
Some club runners preferred to race on asphalt this weekend and competed at the Silverstone Run Fest. Shout-out in particular to Claire, who ran her very first 10k.
And finally something slightly different. Poppy, pulled along by eurohound Swift, achieved a 12th place in the first round of the Canicross Nationals.
