On Saturday, Rob and Justine competed in the Orienteering Winter League event at Loughborough University. For quite a few others, the compass pointed South, leading them to Bournemouth parkrun. The long journey didn't slow them down, though, with Steve running a PB.
On Sunday, the annual mudbath known as the Charnwood Hills Race took place. First Barrow runner across the line was Anna taking the ladies' bronze. Not far behind were Michael, Sam, Alex, and Ian, all making it onto the first page of the results. But not only the first page was graced by impressive Barrow performances. For example, Bomber and Paul were the fastest (and only!) vet 70s in the race.
