Ian Hawley, Reuben Sneller and Neil Jones all took part, with Ian finishing in 03:15:44, Reuben in 03:28:57 and Neil in 04:05:39. Well done to all three of you on your fantastic performances!
We had two runners taking part in races a little closer to home, with Amanda Bailey running the Belvoir Half Marathon in 02:02:08 and Paul Leaney running the Belvoir 7km in 00:35:58.
There was also plenty of parkrun action this weekend, with Barrow Runners taking part in events across the country and abroad. Rachel Bentley was first lady at Beacon Hill in 00:21:53, Alex Toll finished second at Watermead in 00:19:59 and Kristie Matthiae was first lady at Watermead in 00:22:55. Also at Watermead, Paul Bentley achieved the unique and adorable accolade of "first buggy", finishing in 00:25:14. Good skills Paul!
Well done to everyone who ran and raced this weekend, and special congratulations to our spring marathoners over in Paris 🇫🇷
