We had some strong parkrun performances on Saturday morning, despite the curry night on Friday. But the biggest kudos on Saturday went to the Barrow Runners competing in three different ultras. Fiona and Jon completed the Lap around Windermere. Also in the Lake district, Catherine ran the Keswick to Barrow "Walk". Neil J and Reuben completed the Spire Ultra around Chesterfield. Congratulations on all these strong performances in the hot weather!
Meanwhile, Winxy elected to tackle a very long distance by bike at the 100 mile Lincoln GP.
On Sunday Jamie and Neil C ran the Leeds marathon, and 23 runners represented Barrow in the 3rd LRRL race of the season, the West End 8.
