The RUNdown

It was a quieter weekend all in but even with that we have a variety of activity across the weekend for Team Barrow. Sunday was host to the 1st of Barrows Winter 2024/25 Championships.

The first of 7 events making up the championship, drew a sea of yellow, red, and white representing our own barrow runner brigade all gunning to get some early points on the board. Unfortunately, the results are not yet published so no clear standings yet. Once they are published, I will update RUNdown and post the update to FB too. Sunday was also host to Nell Stell who went stateside to the city that never sleeps to take part in the New York Marathon. One to many hills on route but Nell smashed it with a time of 04:30:22. Well done Nell!

Parkrun too was on the go across 15 different venues with Geroge Burdett getting a PB, Mark Platt getting 1st in age category and Rachel Bentley getting 1st Lady!
